When you configure a case detail page, if you set the Party field to be required and then define a role and a type for the Party field, the required setting resets to default.

Setting additional parameters for the Party field, such as type and role, always resets the field to default. When you configure the Party field, you must define a role and a type first and then select the Required setting.

If you distribute a configuration with case, document, or contact lists incorrectly placed on the Navigation pane (for example, if you have placed case lists under the Documents or Contacts panels, or if you have placed document lists under the Contacts or Cases panels) to someone, the user who has received this distributed configuration cannot remove such lists from the Navigation pane.

In such cases, you need to either clear a distributed configuration for that user or to distribute a new, corrected configuration.

Some saved searches with information or date criteria created in WorkZone Client 3.0 cause errors in WorkZone Client 2014 R2 (3.1). Saved searches created in WorkZone Client 3.0 with one or more of the following criteria: Information type = @Exists, @Doesn't exist, or type2, Date type = @Exists, @Doesn't exist, or type 2 do not work in WorkZone Client 2014 R2 (3.1).

This happens due to the changes of information and date search criteria in WorkZone Client 2014 R2 (3.1). Before you install version 2014 R2 (3.1), you need to delete the saved searches with the information or date criteria mentioned above in version 3.0 and then create these searches from a new in version 2014 R2 (3.1).

No e-mails are received from subscriptions to searches with @me or @my unit criteria. If you subscribe to a search with @me or @my unit criteria, no e-mails are received.

Select your user name or the name of your unit as a criteria instead of @me or @my unit.

You cannot create a new document because the buttons Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Export to Excel are not available.

You cannot see the buttons when there is no connection between WorkZone Client and WorkZone for Office. To establish connection, activate ActiveX in Internet Explorer. See Check the key default settings to get the detailed instructions on how to do this.

In Windows 7 and Windows 10, a Microsoft Office application runs without any document. An error message appears immediately in Windows 7 and after 10 minutes in Windows 10.

This happens when you have enabled Protected mode in the Internet Explorer settings. To disable Protected mode, follow the instructions in Check the key default settings.
