Chat settings

Prerequisite: To configure chat settings, you must have the CONFIGADM access code.

You can configure settings for your сhats created in WorkZone Client. For more information about chats, see About WorkZone Chat in WorkZone Client User Guide.


Define retention period for not retained сhats

  1. On the start page, select Global and click the Chat settings tab.
  2. Under Retention period for chats, enter the number of days after which the unretained inactive chats will be automatically deleted.

Note:

  • You can enter the number between 1 and 9999. By default, unretained inactive chats will be automatically deleted after 60 days.
  • Only inactive unretained chats will be automatically deleted after specified retention period. If new activity is registered on the chat, the retention period will be reset.
