Known issues
This release of WorkZone contains the following known issues at the time of release, as well as any known mitigation or work-around.
WorkZone 365
OAuth authorization for Outlook Online fails in Safari browser
For purposes of security and privacy, Safari 12 includes the Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) 2.0, which does not allow the browser to set any 3rd party cookies and treats the cookies set by Identity Providers as 3rd party cookies. To work around this issue, disable the ITP setting. Go to Preferences > Privacy and deselect the Prevent cross-site tracking option.
Colors of the email categories are shown differently in Outlook for Mac
Because of the latest changes from Microsoft in the Outlook for Mac color scheme, colors of email categories are displayed differently in Outlook for Mac compared to Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web. You will only experience this issue if you change the default color green to another color, and accept the "New Outlook" setting in your Outlook application.
The WorkZone Meeting pane for a new meeting loads forever (macOS only)
On macOS machines, if the Outlook meeting does not contain any text in the email body, the WorkZone Meeting pane will be stuck on loading.
Workaround: When creating a new meeting event, add some text to the email body before opening the WorkZone Meeting pane.
WorkZone Teams
On macOS machines, you do not see the documents or cannot add new cases in WorkZone Teams
This could happen, if you have changed your password, but Microsoft Teams has stored your previous sign-in information, causing an improper sign-in to WorkZone. In this scenario, no error message will be displayed in Teams, only an empty window with the spinning circle.
Workaround: Delete your old sign-in information from Teams by following these instructions from Microsoft: How to completely remove Teams from Mac. This will not remove the Teams application itself, only delete all saved information. After following the instructions, restart the Teams app, and you will be able to sign in with your new password.
WorkZone SharePoint
Most recently used cases are not listed on top when searching for WorkZone cases to copy a document to
When searching for WorkZone cases to copy a document to, the most recently used cases are not listed on top.
To resolve this issue, reload the SharePoint page.
Case list does not load when trying to copy a document to WokZone after some idle time
When copying a SharePoint document to WorkZone using the Copy to WorkZone button after some idle time (an hour or longer), the case list is not loading.
To work around this issue, clear the SharePoint site data in your browser.
WorkZone Mass Dispatch
Go to today button in the calendar used for selecting a reply date behaves unexpectedly
In the calendar for selecting a reply deadline on the Recipients tab in the Start mass dispatch dialog box, clicking the Go to today button will set the date to tomorrow’s date and not to today’s date because today’s date is at midnight, and recipients will not be able to reply to messages before the deadline. When the user clicks the Go to today button, the date changes but no message is shown to inform the user. The user can click the Go to today button one more time to set the reply date to today’s date, and then start the process with the deadline already passed.
