Supported WorkZone versions

The diagram below shows the support status of current WorkZone versions.

  • Green: The version is supported.
  • Dark grey (and older versions of WorkZone not displayed in the diagram): The version is no longer supported.

The support period

A released version of WorkZone will be fully supported during the two years following the release after which it will no longer be supported.

What does "Supported" mean?

Supported WorkZone versions are eligible for program updates (including security and privacy updates) that fix reported errors based on a subjective appraisal of the consequences of the errors.

Program updates are usually delivered in the form of hotfixes that can be downloaded and applied to the version in question.

Unsupported versions

WorkZone versions that are no longer supported are not eligible for (and will not receive) program updates of any kind, including security and privacy updates. Unsupported versions still retain all program features and functionality and can be used for daily operations. Embedded links to internal and external sites, for example the WorkZone documentation site may no longer function.

Important: If your version of WorkZone is unsupported, it is recommended to upgrade to a supported WorkZone version. This will help to ensure continued program stability, security and protection of privacy, as well as to receive new functionality and improvements to WorkZone functionality and performance.
