Configure OAuth2 credentials for CPR Update

You must generate the CPR Update module's OAuth2 credentials in WorkZone. You need to copy or save two OAuth2 credentials to complete the number of required identifiers for CPR update configuration.

  • The Client ID of the CPR Update module
  • The Client secret of the CPR Update module

Generate OAuth2 credentials for CPR Update

  1. In WorkZone Configurator, go to GlobalOAuth settings, and click Add.
  2. In the Create OAuth settings form:
    1. In the Client ID field, enter a valid Client ID. Do not use spaces in the client ID. Copy and save the client ID for later use. You will need it to configure the CPR update services.
    2. In the Client name field, enter a name for the client. This name will be displayed in the OAuth settings list.
    3. Select the Enabled check box.
    4. Clear the Allow access token via browser check box.
    5. Clear the Allow offline access check box.
    6. Clear the Require proof key for code exchange check box.
    7. In the Grant type field, select CLNTCRED, Client credentials from the drop-down list.
    8. In the Client secret field, enter a valid client secret. You can click generate to randomly generate a client secret or you can enter your own client secret.

Note down the client secret. You will need it to configure the CPR update services. You cannot copy-and-paste the client secret. You must manually type or write the secret down for later use.

    9. In the User field, select Captia CPR batch afvikler, CPRBATCHUSER from the drop-down list.
  3. Click Save.
