Entities for AI redaction

Prerequisite: To create, edit and delete entities for AI redaction, you must have the DATADM access code.

Note:

  • Currently AI redaction works with PDF documents in Danish language only, and supports Danish format of zip codes, addresses, phone numbers, and so on.
  • AI redaction supports only text format (that is, images or signatures will not be redacted).

About entities for AI redaction

Entities for AI redaction are AI-based language models provided by KMD Text and trained through machine learning to recognize sensitive and personally identifiable information. Currently AI suggestions can recognize identifiers of people, locations (addresses and placenames), organizations, CPR numbers, phone numbers, email addresses, credit card numbers, and passport numbers.

The available entities for AI redaction are provided by KMD Text. System administrators can enable or disable the existing entities, or localize their labels for different languages in WorkZone Configurator (Configurator > PDF > Entities for AI redaction). Once the entity is enabled, users can use it for AI suggested redactions under the Advanced PDF pane in WorkZone Client. See Mark text for redaction.

Prerequisite:

  • The Annotations and redaction license to Advanced PDF must be purchased separately.
  • The Suggest redaction feature setting must be enabled in WorkZone Configurator > Global > Feature Settings > Client > Advanced PDF > Redaction > Suggest redaction.
  • In WorkZone Client, the Preview pane must be configured to make the Advanced PDF pane available to users.

Enable, disable, or localize an entity for AI redaction

  1. In WorkZone Configurator > PDF > Entities for AI redaction, hover the mouse over the preview button on the entity that you want to edit, and click Edit.
  2. In the Entity for redaction form, perform the needed changes.
    • Enable or disable the Selectable toggle to display or hide this entity in WorkZone Client.
    • Under Localize label:
      • Label (da-DK): Enter the name of the entity for AI redaction which will be displayed when the user selects to display the WorkZone Client user interface in Danish. If this field is empty, the value in the Name field is used.
      • Label (de-DE): Enter the name of the entity for AI redaction which will be displayed when the user selects to display the WorkZone Client user interface in German. If this field is empty, the value in the Name field is used.
      • Label (en-GB): Enter the name of the entity for AI redaction which will be displayed when the user selects to display the WorkZone Client user interface in English. If this field is empty, the value in the Name field is used.
  3. Click Save to save your changes.
