Save images to WorkZone cases

Prerequisite:

  • You must be logged in to WorkZone Mobile and have the WorkZone Mobile app running to save the images to WorkZone.

With WorkZone Mobile you can upload images on your mobile device to WorkZone cases. This way you can save on a WorkZone case any related images or, for example, a screenshot of an important text message.

Tip:

  • Sometimes decisions that need to be documented are made in messaging apps, such as SMS text, WhatsApp, Messenger, and so on. In these situations, sharing images from your phone to WorkZone is an easy way to save such decisions on a WorkZone case. Take relevant screenshots of the communication to be archived, go to your preferred photos app, and upload these screenshots to a case in WorkZone.
  • In addition, inspectors can, for example, share images taken during an inspection directly to the relevant inspection case, making it much easier to register inspection data.
  • You can select a default WorkZone case to save your images to, with the possibility to save images on another case during each session.
  • You can have up to 4 application instances of WorkZone Mobile at once. Open the Active instances background mode, and delete the extra instances, if needed.
  • You can share up to 30 images in one session. When sharing multiple images at once, you can specify in which order they will be added to a case.
  • Your images will be added to the selected WorkZone case as case documents with the following details:
    • Case handler: you
    • Document type: Internal
    • Document state: Draft
    • Document type: relevant file type
