Changes to prerequisites for authentication setups

As per this realease, the recommended authentication type is Entra ID. The OAuth authentication type is no longer in active support but can still be used. See Prerequisites.

New attributes for exports and imports that use Entra ID

Several new attributes that are used to specify authentication type and settings are described in Commands and attributes

Note: The attribute previously named oauth2ClientId has been renamed to clientId.

Expanded export and import entity validation rules

When you export and import entity validation rule configurations, the export includes the entity rule, the entity ruleset, and the entity rule message along with localized versions of it. See Supported configurations.

Export and import of organizational WorkZone Client configurations must be done in WorkZone Client

In previous releases, it was mentioned that it is possible to export and import organizational configurations using WorkZone Export/Import. This is not supported. You can export and import organizational configurations from WorkZone Client. See Import and export configurations in the WorkZone Client Administrator Guide.
