About Contact update
Contact update (CPR/CVR) is a WorkZone module that manages the import of CPR contact data from the Danish Central Office of Civil Registration (Det Centrale Personregister) and CVR business contact data from the Danish Central Business Register (Det Centrale Virksomhedsregister) into WorkZone. The Contact update module consists of two sub-modules:
- Contact update - CPR
- Contact update - CVR
Both modules are intended for WorkZone Cloud Edition customers and customers with a container-based (Azure AKS) setup.
When is WorkZone data updated?
The CPR and CVR contact data in WorkZone is updated early in the morning on workdays, immediately after the synchronization of CPR and CVR data between Datafordeler and the Danish Central Office of Civil Registration as well as the Danish Central Business Register. We recommend starting the WorkZone update at 6:00 in the morning, which is when the Datafordeler synchronization is completed. The start time of the WorkZone update is set during the deployment of WorkZone. See Contact synchronization.
You can also schedule when to perform the CVR synchronization in WorkZone Configurator. See Schedule CVR synchronization.
About CPR and Datafordeler
The CPR sends updated data to the Datafordeler once a day from Monday to Friday between 18:00 and 24:00, after which the data is loaded onto Datafordeler overnight within 1 to 6 hours. On weekdays, the data can therefore be up to approximately 30 hours behind the actual CPR system. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the Datafordeler is not updated.
See CPR Datafordeler on the CPR Dokumentation website for information about the synchronization schedule between CPR and Datafordeler.
Configure the Contact update module
Before you can start using the Contact update module, you need to configure Datafordeler for CPR or CVR, or both depending on your organization’s needs. See Contact update - CPR and Contact update - CVR.
Enable the Contact update module
The Contact update module is disabled by default, so you must enable it before you can use it.
In WorkZone Configurator, go to Global > Feature settings, and enable the following feature settings:
- Content Server > Contact update
- Content Server > Contact update > CPR
- Content Server > Contact update > CVR
See Enable Contact update - CPR and Enable the Contact update - CVR.
Make sure to disable the Client > CPR Integration, Client > CVR Integration, Content Server > CPR Integration and Content Server > CVR Integration features, as they will override the Contact update which might cause technical issues.
