only): WorkZone Mobile (Ny) crashes or shows the white screen after long idle time
Workaround: Try to avoid running the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app idle (without doing anything in the app) for more than 3-4 days. If the issue still occurred, reinstall the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app manually.
only): Browse icon does not work
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions. You can perform the needed actions in WorkZone Client.
only): WorkZone Mobile (Ny) freezes when processing large number of tasks
When processing a large number (250 or more) of tasks at once, sometimes the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app might freeze.
Workaround: Try processing tasks in smaller batches.
only): Collapsed sections of Upcoming and Closed tasks expand when you pull to refresh
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
only): Cannot update a parallel task forwarded to one of the approvers
If multiple approvers edit the parallel task (Advanced submission) at the same time, and one of them forwards the task to another, that user will receive a "Do you want to save your changes?" message with Cancel and Save buttons, but clicking on either button will do nothing.
Workaround: Switch to any other task, and then go back to the task in question to get its latest changes.
, Intune only): Cannot load document edits made in Microsoft 365 Copilot app
When you edit a WorkZone document via relevant 365 Copilot app, and then open that document in WorkZone, your annotations are not displayed, and sometimes the white screen appears.
Workaround: Microsoft is currently working on a solution to resolve this issue.
only): Log-in fails, if you switch to another WorkZone server URL
If you try to switch to another WorkZone server URL (for example, if your organization uses more than one WorkZone servers) shortly after successfully logging in to a different WorkZone server URL, the log-in fails.
Workaround: Close and restart the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app, and then enter the new URL.
only): Parliamentary Question tasks do not work
Tasks that have the Parliamentary Question process type are currently not supported in the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app.
only): Incorrect number of processing documents after adding a new document
If you add a new document to a task, then perform a non-final submission step, and then pull to refresh, the counter of processing document displays random number.
Workaround: Close and restart the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app.
only): Cannot view SmartPost task documents with disabled PDF/UA validation
When you try to view a task document that has disabled PDF/UA validation, the document does not open.
Workaround: You can view such documents in WorkZone Client.
only): In the offline mode, you can drag and reorder task documents and approvers
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
only): Task details freeze after 5 minutes of being idle
If you open the task details and leave the app idle for 5 minutes or more, the task details screen becomes unresponsive.
Workaround: Try to avoid leaving the app idle for 5 minutes or more.
only): Document download is very slow for tasks forwarded to the second approver
If a task has multiple approvers, and one of them forwards the task to another, downloading the documents from this task becomes very slow (5 minutes and more).
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
only): Task document loads twice
Sometimes, when you tap a task document to open it, it loads, then flickers and reloads again.
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
only): After you complete the final step in the task flow, the next task does not show automatically
After you complete the final action for a task (for example, Approve), the app displays this task's details screen instead of automatically opening the next task from your list.
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
only): App freezes when you switch between the tasks
Sometimes the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) freezes, if you attempt to switch between the tasks while some of the task documents or other resources are still being loaded.
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
only): In PDF viewer, table of content does not appear, until you select format
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
, Intune only): Logout button does not work
Sometimes the Logout button does not work.
Workaround: Close and restart the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app.
Android only): On the tasks, editing actions are enabled for users with read-only access rights
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
Android, only on devices using NTLM authorization): Cannot edit WorkZone documents via relevant 365 Copilot app
Workaround: Microsoft is currently working on a solution to resolve this issue.
Android only): Filter for a hearing task attachments and Browse icon do not work
Workaround: This functionality will be added in the upcoming versions. You can perform the needed actions in WorkZone Client.
Android only): When trying to open a task document that has not downloaded yet, an alert message shows briefly and disappears
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
Android only): On the tasks, editing actions are enabled for users with read-only access rights
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
Android only): When editing PDF documents, the Discard changes button does not work
Workaround: Open another task, and then come back to the original task, so that your annotations are cleared.
Android only): Cannot open task documents on the Smart Post Process and Copy Smart Post tasks
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions. You can perform the needed actions in WorkZone Client.
Android only): Offline final actions on the tasks are not synced automatically when you are back online
Tasks where the final action (for example, Approve or Reject) was performed in the offline mode, remain unsent until the user pulls to refresh.
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions.
Android only): Advanced submission tasks are not released automatically
Advanced submission tasks opened in the WorkZone Mobile (Ny) app remain locked for editing even after the user closes them (the "This task is checked out by [relevant user]." message is displayed).
Workaround: This will be fixed in the upcoming versions. A system administrators with the PROCESSADM access rights can unlock such tasks via the Take over button in WorkZone Client.
Android only): Cannot open the meeting documents in WorkZone Mobile (Ny)
Workaround: This functionality will be added in the upcoming versions. You can perform the needed actions in WorkZone Client.
