Make desktop cases private by default

You can enable the feature setting Make desktop cases private under: Global > Feature settings > Content Server. All new users that are created after this setting is enabled will have a private desktop case, which means that it isonly accessible to the user who owns the case.

The feature is disabled by default.

Note:
  • The feature only applies to desktop cases created after the feature is enabled. Existing desktop cases are not updated.
  • System users (such as SYSADM) are not affected by the feature and their desktop cases remain accessible as before.
  • This setting only controls read access; no other access-rights behavior is changed.
