Data security

In addition to standard data security features and policies inherent in any WorkZone installation, WorkZone Cloud Edition utilizes the built-in data security features and policies of the Azure cloud environment and the Oracle Cloud architecture such as data segregation, At-rest and In-transit data protection, data redundancy, and secure data destruction. Additionally, the Oracle Cloud solution utilizes multiple layers of security and defense, providing in-depth resiliency through preventive controls, detective controls, and administering measures to handle security policies, practices and procedures.

EU GDPR designations

With regards to EU GDPR designations, KMD is considered the main dataprocessor (Da. databehandler) but has dataprocessor (Da. databehandler) sub-contracts with Oracle and Microsoft, both of which must therefore comply with the EU GDPR regulations.
