Template services

Prerequisite: To configure template services, you must be assigned the CONFIGADM access code.

If your organization uses Documotor or Templafy (Templafy One or Templafy Hive) to store and manage your Microsoft Office templates, you can create Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents in WorkZone One or WorkZone Client based on one of your organization's Documotor or Templafy templates. Important: From WorkZone 2026.1 and onwards, to use the Omnidocs (Documotor) templates in WorkZone One or WorkZone Client, you must create a new WorkZone One or WorkZone Client integration with the AppFlow type in the Omnidocs admin portal. After that, in WorkZone Configurator under Services > Template services, make sure to update the existing Service URL for documotor with the integration ID of your new integration.
  1. On the start page, select Services > Template services.
  2. Point to the service that you want to edit, and click Edit.
  3. In the Template service dialog, enter the URL to your template service, including your tennant ID, in the following format:
    • For Documotor: https://[documotor_server/units/[unitID]?integrationId=[integrationID]
    • For Templafy: https://[tenantID].templafy.com/documents?ExternalSystemId=workzone
  4. Click Save.
