What's new for WorkZone users

WorkZone One
Document tabs
You can now organize case documents into tabs. Each tab displays a filtered view of the documents on the case, making it easier to find and work with related content. You can create multiple document tabs on a case and switch between them to quickly sort and focus on specific documents. See Document tabs.
Edit case, document, and contact information from the preview
When working with cases, document, and contacts, you can edit their information fields directly from the preview pane, without having to open the respective case, document, or contact page. See Edit case details, Edit document details, and Edit contact details.
Configure list widgets
When adding a new list widget or editing an existing list widget, you can select which columns will be displayed in this list and in which order. See Configure a new widget.
Create contacts directly from the Add parties dialog
You can now create a contact directly while adding parties to a case or a document. If the contact does not exist, click Create contact in the Add parties dialog, select a contact type, and enter required information. The new contact becomes available in the Add parties dialog allowing you to add it to the Parties list. See Create contacts as parties on a case and Create contacts as parties on a document.
List enhancements
- Close and reopen cases from the lists
: From the case list, you can now close and re-open multiple selected cases at once, without having to go to the individual case pages.
- Sort lists by column: You can sort any list in the ascending or descending order by values in that list's column. See Sort a list.
- Filter lists: You can filter any list by one or more of its columns to narrow down the displayed results or to find specific items. See Filter a list.
- Search in lists: You can search in any list to quickly find the needed items within that list. See Search in a list.
Miscellaneous enhancements
- Move (rejournalise) archived documents to another case: If you have the DEJOURNALADM access rights, you can move an archived document to another case. See Move (rejournalise) an archived document to another case.
- When adding new widgets to the WorkZone One dashboard, you can select your own saved searches, as well as shared with you saved searches as the data source. See Configure a new widget.
WorkZone Mobile (New)
Push notifications available for the Tasks module (
only)
You can receive push notifications about the new tasks assigned to you or changes to your existing tasks (for example, about changes to task documents, task deadlines or priorities). See How can I receive notifications?
Prerequisite:
- Push notifications must first be enabled by your administrator in WorkZone Configurator under Process > Process settings > Notifications > Send push notifications. See Process notifications in the WorkZone ProcessAdministrator Guide.

WorkZone 365
Save reply email on the same WorkZone case
When you reply to an email conversation where a previous message is already saved to a WorkZone case, that case is automatically selected for your reply. See Save reply email on the same case.
WorkZone for Office
WorkZone Meeting support
WorkZone Meeting functionality is now supported in WorkZone for Office (with Office 2021 and Office 2024). You can save appointments and meetings from your Outlook calendar to WorkZone as WorkZone meetings. WorkZone meetings are WorkZone cases, containing information about the meeting itself, its attendees, agenda and any documents added to the agenda. See WorkZone meetings.
